1.able 用法:be able to do
Note: 反義詞unable表示不能,而disabled表示殘疾的。
be able to do可以表示經(jīng)過艱難困苦才能做到的事。
2.abroad 用法:表示到(在)國外,是一個副詞,前面不加介詞。
Note: 可以說from abroad, 表示從國外回來。
3.admit 用法:表示承認(rèn)的時候后面要加上動名詞形式。
Note: 表示允許進入的時候與介詞to搭配。
4.advise 用法:advise sb. to do; advise doing
Note: 后面的賓語從句要用虛擬語氣。即:advise that sb. (should) do的形式。
